Up and away on a flying lesson which was a belated 30th present that I only just got time to take.
The plane was more Top Shop than Top Gun and when he had the bonnet up befor we got it I started to get some nerves. I also took about 10 minutes to get her started and teh door was held on by what looked like a coat hanger.
After our pre-flight checks I took her for a spin and amazingly didn't get sick or plummet to earth in a blaze of glory.
After I'd shot down a few jerrys it was back to blighty for tea and medals.
as well as wimpy's of the world we saw a few other familiar sights. Living a stones throw away from the trusty Spar we didn't expect to see one as soon as we stepped off the plane in South Africa.
This large advert on the side of the building was strange as well - it covers loads of people's flats. You can see where they painted round the windows. You would just need to pop your head out of your window and be part of a vodka advert.
We took Amber to a wedding on saturday, we were abit nervous about it, but all turned out ok, even though she got hungry in the church and cried her little eyes out...
Here she's absolutely knock out before we went to wedding, and she spend most of the wedding like this.... :)
Amber and Ross having a sleep, I think the waking up every two hours is taking a toll on us... all worth it though...
Im back at home now, glad to be home, and getting into the swing of things, and recovering slowly :)
Thank you to everyones presents, cards, phone calls and texts, if i havent been able to get back to you, im really sorry, havent got much time at the moment... but will try as soon as I can.
